1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Interview Coach UK application ("App") or website (interviewcoachuk.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Interview Coach UK provides interview preparation tools including practice questions, AI-powered feedback, mock interview sessions, and coaching content. The App is intended to help users prepare for job interviews in the United Kingdom.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using your email address, Apple ID, or Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Interview Coach UK offers free and premium subscription tiers.
• Premium subscriptions are available on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Where a free trial is offered, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
• We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use automated tools to access or scrape content from the App.
• Misuse or abuse the AI coaching features.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including questions, sample answers, coaching content, and the App's design, is owned by Interview Coach UK and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Interview Coach UK does not guarantee employment outcomes, job offers, or interview success as a result of using the App.

7a. AI-Generated Content

Parts of the App — including answer feedback, generated interview packs, regenerated sample answers, and coaching responses — are produced by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information, and is provided for practice and illustration purposes only. You are responsible for verifying any factual information (including salaries, frameworks, policies, and procedures) before relying on it. Sample answers are illustrative examples and should not be presented as your own experience in a real interview. Interview packs generated from a job description are predictions intended as preparation aids only; they do not represent, and we do not guarantee, the questions any employer or interview panel will actually ask.

7b. Not Professional Advice

The App provides general interview practice material and educational content only. It is not a careers advice, recruitment, legal, or professional advisory service, and does not constitute advice for your specific circumstances. You should seek appropriate professional guidance where your situation requires it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interview Coach UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of employment opportunity, loss of earnings, or reliance on content within the App. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use. You may delete your account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature within the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
